Music Club: Your Opera (Term XXII Activity #04)

Activity: Your Opera
Points: 1st/2nd/3rd/Participation Only: 50/40/30/10 points.
Deadline: Submit by Thursday, June 28th @ 21:59 UTC; Voting ends on Saturday, June 30th @ 21:59 UTC. (timezone converter)
Details: Picture it: You're a famous composer who is just about to finish your next masterpiece - an opera. What do you need for an opera? Music, of course! And a libretto. Write a summary of your opera's content and pick three to seven musical pieces (preferrably classical, but doesn't have to be; there are rock operas as well!) as the opera's highlights. If you really compose or record some music yourself (like you either playing or singing), there'll be a special surprise!
As always, there are no roster grace periods, so double and even triple check that you're on it.
Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. Victor Hugo recommends you to join the Club.
