Yeah, I think you covered most things. Even though he grew up with the fame, I can see Neville getting a bit overwhelmed by it when he entered Hogwarts. I also agree he would defeat Voldemort because he had to, but it would probably break him. I wonder what Neville's and Dumbledore's relationship would be like. Would Dumbledore be as reserved with information about the prophecy and the like as he was with Harry? I can see it going both ways.
