Here's an easy activity to do while you're waiting for Hogsmeade!

Activity Behind Closed Doors

Deadline Thursday September 29 11pm UTC (6pm CDT)
(You need to request a character at least 24 hours before the deadline.)




OK 1-50 are taken, so I'm taking requests for 51-100. Thanks for your patience with me, I'm having some computer issues. I'm having computer issues so I'll give everyone a reply, just not with pretty pictures anymore. :(





Behind each of these doors is a Harry Potter character. Commment with a number and I'll reply with the character you've discovered. Your job is to write a little fic (50+ words) or create a graphic that tells a secret from that character's point of view. Don't worry, if we run out, I'll add more doors!

Rules
-Don't choose a door that's already been opened by another player
-No switching, sorry. If you're not familiar with your character, try Harry Potter Wiki for more info.
-Keep graphics to 500x500 or less. Text entries can be as long as you like, but no less than 50 words.
-Remember, these are secrets from the point of view of your character, not just about them.
-Make sure you sign the roster! I try to let people know if I notice they're not on it, but I can't guarantee it. I don't give a grace period for signing.

It was late, a Friday night, so things were quite busy in the Hog's Head Inn. Arianna Dumbeldore listened for the sounds of her brother Aberforth and heard him as usual keeping things going in the bar. She knew she would have a few more hours before he would have time to quiet everyone down and head off to bed so she turned and walked out of her painting. Aberforth knew she sometimes went into the castle but she hadn't told him where she went all the time. If he knew where she went every Friday night it would hurt him and she didn't want that to happen.

There was a small painting in the farthest corner of the Ravenclaw tower that no one really paid any attention to and that was her destination. As soon as her foot appeared on the right side a purple robe swished into the other. Smiling she ran into her brothers arms.

"Good evening Albus." She said hugging him tight.

"Good eve my sweet sister." He replied back lovingly.

It had been many years since Albus Dumbledore had showed up on her doorstep, crying. He had just defeated Gellert, and didn't know where to go. She had been the only family that knew of their relationship, Gellert's parents never would've approved, but Bathilda was old, and she'd seen enough in her time not to be bothered by much. While she had loved the boy with all her heart she did not blame Albus for what he'd had to do. She'd comforted him and grieved with him that night, all the while wondering how it had ever come to this.

It helps that Angelina knows, else Katie Bell would be a miserable wreck. It’s always assumed that girls on the Quidditch team are you know, except that no matter what, everyone believes they’re not really like that. Katie enjoys the rough and tumble inherent with the game and everyone knows that. Everyone doesn’t know that Katie enjoys the rough and tumble with Angelina Johnson. And it’s just as good as Quidditch.
