Your friend convinces you to go shopping with her this next weekend with the $200 gift card she got for her birthday. Delighted, you go along. You're hoping that maybe she'll get you a little something like a good Sugar Momma, but she gets herself two brand new outfits. All that's left on the card is $5.29. She gives it to you and you keep it for a rainy day. Putting it into your pocket you catch a glimpse of your watch and realize that the parking meter MUST have run out of time by now. You race back to the car as fast as you possibly can. Panting and dripping with sweat you first check your windshield. Nothing. Then you check the meter. Seeing as how you have 30 minutes left on the clock, seems like you had a nice meter fairy to save your day!
