You are at a flea market when you notice an old rotary telephone sitting all alone on a display table. When you pick it up to examine it, you suddenly find yourself transported to a deserted field! The telephone was a portkey, and now you have no idea where you are. Fortunately you manage to hitch a ride to the nearest city, but you're going to have words with whoever had the bright idea to put a portkey for sale.
