I, having done my research and known that he was both long-winded and a prima, would have scheduled a friend or assistant to call me 20 minutes or so before 4 pm. I would then don a look of great distress and say there was a family emergency. I would profusely refuse and tell him that I would love to make it up to him by talking to him again soon since he was truly fascinating.

Then I would skip off to my next appointment on time and full of yummy coffee :3
