Radios are a perfect tool for dark wizards to use, because muggles and wizards use them so often. What they do is encode certain songs with hidden messages that'll brainwash a muggle into going on a killing spree before killing themselves. If you're a wizard, it'll make it so that you hate muggles and muggleborns and support Voldemort. Donations are nice too, of course, as it takes a lot of money to be an evil lord.
