I found a lovely plant for Luna (even if the name sounds like Tonks!) - the Chameleon Plant. The plant is made up of heart shaped foliage in multicolored red, blue-green, & yellow - with white flowers. This kind of reminds me of Luna's unique dress style accenting her blond hair - not to mention how she does everything from the heart, with a deeper wisdom than book-learning. When you crush the leaves they have a soapy scent - a clean smell - rather like Luna's refreshingly pure personality. Finally, they do best in filtered light - Luna's wisdom had to be really examined before people comprehend it.

Ooh, the Chameleon Plant reflects Luna's quirkiness well. The word chameleon itself means 'a changeable, fickle, or inconstant person', and with Luna, we never know what we'll expect next.

See, while I agree the appearance of the plant is great for Luna, I don't really agree with this per se, because while yes, she's very whimsical and free-spirited, she's never really fickle or inconstant. In fact, I'd say Luna is one of the few characters in the series who is adamant about who she is. She won't change herself for anyone, good or bad.

Very nice! Choosing a plant that would fit somebody else at first glance. It's ingenious how you were able to fit each characteristic of the flower with Luna's personality! I love this one!

I like this description of Luna. She is super quirky and out there, much like this plant. Luna is very refreshing and unique from everyone in the books. I also like that it has white flowers on it which kind of highlights how different she is from everyone else. Not that this is a bad thing at all. In fact, I think it makes her more beautiful.

Wow....you nailed her personality perfectly and matched it wonderfully with the plant.

The soapy scent also goes with her with the fact that she is pure, she dosen't really think bad about people. She takes people as they are even if they are being mean to her. She is of pure mind and spirit.

I really, reall like this. I'd have been unoriginal and gone with something likened to the moon simply because of her name, but I think the clean smell and the unique coloring works perfect for Luna.
