Since it is made out of rowan wood, this wand possesses an aptitude for Charms and Transfiguration, two subjects that I feel that I would rely on at Hogwarts. Both my wandwood and I share an adaptability and ability to be relied upon, further reinforcing our connection. The phoenix-feather core also shares this versatility, making it an excellent wand in a duel. The element of springy-ness would also be a nice balance of ease and difficulty in learning spells; it would also afford me a good level of power, without being too powerful for me to control. However, despite these benefits, this wand also reflects my own lack of ability in the realm of Divination, Care of Magical Creatures, and other similar areas - a limitation which might hinder my dueling ability in various locations. Additionally, I would likely be limited in the amount of power my wand could generate; it would take many years of practice to reach the level that a less-flexible wand could attain.
