Entry 1: Eliphas Lévi
Eliphas Lévi, born Alphonse Louis Constant, (February 8, 1810 - May 31, 1875) was a French wizard and author. Famously known for breaking the International Confederation of Wizards' Statute of Secrecy Act by publishing his book, Dogme et Rituel de Haute Magie (Dogma and Ritual of High Magic), through muggle publishers and selling the books in muggle bookshops.

He also identified the three fundamental priniciples of magic: a) That the material universe is only a small part of total reality; b) That human willpower is a real force; and c) That the human being is a microcosm.

Entry 2: Neville Longbottom
Born on July 30th, 1980, Mr Longbottem is currently the Herbology professor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Though beloved for his encouragement of students and skill as an outstanding Herbologist, Mr Longbottem has been recognized for reasons that remain in his past and within his prior experiences in the school.

Born hours before the Boy Who Lived, it has been acknowledged that a prophesy made before the boy’s birth outlines that it could have been chanced that Longbottem could have fulfilled Potter’s role, had Voldemort not marked Potter as his victim and rival. However, Longbotten proved to play a vital role in the destruction of the Dark Lord and is acknowledged for his brave acts. As witnesses proclaimed, it was Longbottem who instigated the protection of students within his final year and in the final Battle of Hogwarts, he took hold of Gryffindor’s sword and killed the Dark Lord’s pet, Nagini, who later was revealed as a Horcrux by Potter.

Longbottem’s actions were recognized with other individuals and families after the second war. His grandmother has stated that he brought great honour to his family in following their traditions, as his parents were Auror’s in the first war.

Entry 3: Sir Francis Drake
Although Sir Francis Drake (1540-1596) claimed to be a Muggle sailor in order to broaden his fame, it is generally acknowledged that only a wizard would dare put to sea in the Golden Hind. Famous among wizards and Muggles alike for circumnavigating the globe and defeating the Spanish Armada, his correspondence reveals that he frequently achieved his aims through magic. He invented several powerful charms which he used to repair his ships during his voyages and he often Confunded the captains of rival ships to assure an English victory. Living as he did before the institution of the International Statute of Secrecy, Sir Francis was able to invent 63 seafaring and military spells, including the Glabration Charm, which turns an enemy’s cannons into black liquorice.

Sir Francis’ Hogwarts career was equally extraordinary. He held the school record for detentions until 1713, owing to his tendency to test his new spells on his classmates. He nevertheless became Head Boy in 1557 and achieved 10 N.E.W.T.s. (An inquest into his alleged Confunding of the Head Boy Selection Committee was inconclusive.)

Sir Francis was also a champion lawn bowler.

Entry 4: Neville Longbottom
Being the only son of Alice and Frank Longbottom, the famous Aurors who were crucial members of the Order of the Phoenix, Neville came to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with a lot of expectations on his shoulders and he has certainly exceeded every wish his family could have had for him with his courageous deeds.

He is most famous for aiding Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, in the defence of Ministry Magic in the famous Department of Mysteries Battle, for the valiant defence of Hogwarts during its time of siege and for the destruction of You Know Who's snake Nagini. For his courageous actions and relentless bravery, Neville was awarded the Order of Merlin, First Class. Neville's most sincere passions in life are Herbology and dancing.

Entry 5: Frank and Alice Longbottom
Frank and Alice Longbottom were first rate aurors, and members of the original Order of the Phoenix. They gave not their lives but their minds for the causing of defeating Voldemort and keeping him from ultimate power. They stood strong under torture, and were a shining star in the darkness of the times in which they fought. They are heroes who should never be forgotten.

Entry 6: Tiresias
Tiresias was the famed blind seer of Thebes, prophet to seven generations, including Oedipus. In addition to his divination skills, he was also famous for being transformed into a woman for seven years.

Entry 7: Aleister Crowley
- Claimed to be the Beast from Revelations
- Created the Crowley-Thoth Tarot deck, and helped to restore Tarot's place in Witchcraft
- Inspired many to follow him
- Believed to have sacrificed humans

He still has followers today (although I'm pretty sure they don't sacrific humans) and made a huge impact on the modern magic(k)al world.

Entry 8: Severus Snape
1960 - 1998
Former Potions Master & Defense against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts,
Head of Slytherin House and even Hogwarts Headmaster in 1997. Superb Occlumens and Legilimens. But most notable known as the Bravest Man Ever Lived, double-sply for the Order of the Phoenix in the first and second war against Voldemort. Died in the Battle of Hogwarts by the hand of Voldemort. Received the Order of Merlin First class post-mortem.

Entry 9: Hermione Granger
1979 -
Spearheaded Equality for all Magical Creatures
Hermione is most noted for repealing various prejudicial laws in regards to blood status, half-breeds as well as centaurs, goblins and house elves.

Entry 10: Lily Evans Potter
Brilliant at Potions and skilled at Charms.
Belonged to Gryffindor, where she met future husband James Potter.
Member of the Order of Phoenix.
Faced Voldemort three times. each time leaving alive, making herself and her son the target of Voldemort after he hears of the prophecy.
Sacrificed her own life for that of her son, giving him the protection to survive the attack of The Dark Lord.

Entry 11: Severus Snape
1960-1998
Death Eater, Hogwarts professor, Hogwarts Headmaster.
Now known to have spent his entire adult life enriching students' minds and dedicated to the successful cause of defeating Voldemort, Severus Snape now has the post-humous distinction of being considered 'the bravest man I ever knew' (said by Harry Potter, Chosen One).
