1. In March 1973, Pink Floyd released what album?
The Dark Side of the Moon
2. Who was the mastermind behind the groups Parliament and Funkadelic?
George Clinton (Who I was introduced to in the San Diego airport a few months ago. Weird guy.)
3. Name two movies that singer, Meatloaf, has appeared in.
There's a bunch. A list of them can be found here.
4. What British punk band's name was blacked out for vulgarity when their first single was released in 1976?
The Sex Pistols. The single was 'God Save the Queen'. On the charts, it was simply a big black mark because it was too "vulgar" to print.
5. Throughout his entire career, Elvis Presley only had one personal manager. This man took between 50% and 100% of Elvis' earnings. What was his name?
Colonel Tom Parker. His real name was actually Andreas van Kuijk and he was from Holland. His and Elvis' story is fascinating. I just read an amazing biography on them called 'The Colonel'. I would highly recommend it.
6. Which band's "Greatest Hits 1971-1975" album has sold more than 26 million copies?
The Eagles.
7. Who is the lead singer of the Rolling Stones?
Lips, I mean Mick Jagger. Hah.
8. "Hey Joe", "Foxey Lady", and "Purple Haze" were all singles for what African-American rocker?
Jimi Hendrix.
9. What guitar-legend left the Yardbirds right before they found fame?
Eric Clapton! He was also in Cream before going solo. If you ever get the chance to see him in concert...do it. He's brilliant.
10. Crosby, Stills, Nash & __________.
Young He joined after the group's 1969 debut album, which sold over 2 million copies in the first year.

Date: 2006-01-31 12:00 am (UTC)Knuts are the ones that go to you...but you don't get any knuts for participating in club activities (just In-House Contests, being a top sorter, other contests, etc.). And at the end of each month a big list of who got what knuts is posted. But you still don't have to do anything, because they're automatically deposited into your vault at
Hope that answers your question? If it doesn't...ask me again!
