"I... I have to PEE," I whine at the door. "RIGHT NOW!"
I look around the room. "Sugar Honey Iced Tea," I hiss.
I slink to the floor behind a chair and cast The Defensive Charm (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/spells/spells_d.html#Defensive) on myself just in case.
I'm going through every charm I've ever read or heard about. I grin, remembering "My life with as a Cornish Pixie Rescue and Relocate agent" by Gilderoy Lockhart.
"Peskipiksi Pesternomi! (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/spells/spells_p.html#Peskipiksi)" I shout, aiming my wand up at the bees.
Nada. "Oh hell," I think. "They're not Pixies you idiot!" "Peski....bee Pesternomi?" I call out. "What the hell is Latin for 'bee'?" I wonder to myself, mentally noting to brush up on my Latin as soon as I have a free moment.
The bees are angry. The buzzing gets louder as they approach nearer.
"The buzzing... they communicate through the buzzing," I reason as I cannot remember ever having read anything in depth regarding Giant Barnacle Bees. "That must've been the chapter I skimmed!" I curse myself.
"SILENCIO!" I swish and flick my wand toward the approaching swarm. "STUPEFY!" I try, desperately swishing and flicking, trying to ward off an attack.
The bees hang in midair, frozen, but growing ever angrier. "Catch them?! She can't be serious," I mutter.
"CONFUNDUS," (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/spells/spells_c.html#Confundus) I do a loop-de-loop, swish, flick combination to cast the Confundus charm at the bees. They appear dazed.
"Okay uhh..." I'm thinking, grasping at straws, knowing Mary Sue Knowlesital, a Ravenclaw in my class, will be up after me, and probably will do it right the FIRST time. I have to outdo her. I pace, knowing my spells will wear off at any moment.
"OOH!! OOH!!! CONFUNDUS!" (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/spells/spells_c.html#Confundus) I cast. "I am the GRAND HIGH QUEEN BEE!" I tell them, hoping and praying it will work. "You must follow me to a new hive. One with a POOL and a VIEW!" I promise.
I cast the Cheering Charm (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/spells/spells_c.html#Cheering) at the bees to make them happy, and feel good towards me whether or not they've understood. If nothing else, maybe I'll make it out alive.
"ORCHIDEOUS!" (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/spells/spells_o.html#Orchideous) I chant, and a fragrant bloom springs from the tip of my wand.
I walk towards the door. "Alohemora!" I cast, unlocking the door and beckoning my swarm to follow.
"If this works, someone should totally Scourgify (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/spells/spells_s.html#Scouring) this place," I note to the Professor.
I see Mary Sue's shocked and horrified face as I walk through the door. Feeling just a bit smug, but terrified myself... for if my litany of spells and charms may not have worked I've just unleashed a very angry swarm of Giant Barnacle Bees loose in the castle.
