DA Application
YES...finally the long awaited DA application is here. There are a few things i want you to take into consideration. There will be a limit of 10 members from each house, if 10 can not be found, then we will have to shorten the amount, but don't be discouraged...each month 2 new members will be inducted each month. Also, participation is mandatory to atleast two meetings a month (on LJ in this community), there will be two held a every two weeks, so you have 4 chances to show up. You will have one pass every two months for legitimate reasons why you can't show up to a meeting. There will also be 2 contests a month and you must participate in one. If you do not your place will be given to another person. With all that said, the application is:

First off, since this is participation mandatory, what (if any) time constraints would there be on your part?
What is your reasons for wanting to join the DA?
Do you think you'd work well in a gorup, why or why not?
What do you think the purpose of the DA is?
What do you expect from me and the other members of the DA?
What do you wish to learn while a part of the DA?
What, if anything, would you like to see transfer over from the book into our RL DA? (be realistic)
In posting this with your name/signature, you accept the respondsibility of appearing and participating in atleast two meetings a mont and will compete in atleast one of the contest. If you do noy, you forfit your position in the DA. Post comments here on anything you don't understand:
Now for the info on the club :) As stated there will be 4 meetings a month (one for specifc timezones every two weeks), what will go on in those i have yet to figure out, but that will come along at the first one I suspect which i hope to start the third week of April if not sooner. The contests will vary but I want to have atleast one a month be a potion or spell from the book which would translate into the real world and have one, that's be you, write a short essay on how you could use it and make it. If it's a spell, list what it does and it's counterspell, if there is one. That's just the basics. I hope to learn from y'all as to what you wish to learn and we can go from there. The new members will be posted in a week or two depending on the amount off applications i recieve. Thank you for your interest!
